The fact it required until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over five decades.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, if we do, we know we can succeed."

These statements will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this championship need to hear.

In recent days a feeling they will win from any position has only strengthened - this success coming after win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at one point.
